Octane Booster

I was wondering if anyone uses octane booster and does it help much, performance wise. All that's available, fuel wise, around here is 91 octane.

My car isn't pinging or anything, just wondering if I would benefit any running more octane.

I'm planning to go to a local track for test and tune day in a few weeks and I thought I might add some for the hell of it.

I don't think many here use fuel additives except for long term storage. I don't. I just ALWAYS use 91.

It would help if you find yourself stuck with 91 octane at a low elevation track event when it is 90 degrees outside and you have a chip with more aggressive ignition timing. Pinging can also occur if your cooling system is plugged or you don't have your fans programmed to turn on at a lower temp.
