Car is black and rear calipers need to be replaced so would end up matching the front

I would like to think my answer would be black, but even that could get dirty.
I have red C5 Z06 calipers and they get dirty in no time at all. If I had my druthers, I would buy the standard, unfinished C5 calipers in natural aluminum finish so i could blast them with brake cleaner and not care at all about the gloss paint.

Yeah Black even get dirty but I guess it would not be as noticeable..
One of the above 2 schemes will be done on them I just need to decide which way to go

I have always thought Black calipers look best.

I like red. Your car is black so it will be a nice change up with those refreshed wheels.

I believe I'd be inclined to go with a "match" to the wheels rather than a contrasting of either red or black. The "splash"? I believe they might maybe add just to much of what some call "busy". What did you decide for the center-caps for the refinished wheels?
The "match" to wheel color might add a "finished" touch to the project, red/black, black/red, well I just don't get the "splash" on a '90 or earlier project. The '91+ maybe but I'm not much of a "splash graphics" enthusiast anyway. The ZR-1 font of the rear cover badge I do like a lot and prefer to any "splash". The C6 "CORVETTE" font of the Z06 calipers looks a bit out of place also I believe.

I agree with Dave here; Red sans 'splash'.
'Splash', maybe on center caps. Or 'ORIGINAL' ZR1 on center caps...

I have the 'splash' on the fender currently, but can be removed. I can leave the calipers plain I suppose, I just thought the 'splash' was a nice add, especially if I remove it from the fender.

Polish the calipers and use the splash or a ZR-1 decal.
Maybe black.

I vote for the Red ones. Paint or Powder Coat?

I went black on mine (C5 calipers). I tend to like things a little subtle and felt red was a little much, also red was never a caliper color on the C4s so I felt it was more in keeping with that. My car is black/black.

black with white letters. if you have red accents on the car then black with red letters.

I could do a Silver lettering too
Facing on the calipers needs to be redone. They are currently black, so if I did black it is just cleaning up mostly. I don' think they need to be a complete repaint.
edram, the car has red accents currently
Dom,
Polishing would be nice, but a pain to keep up and not really in the budget to have someone do it this year.. maybe next season. I could do the script in a polished finish with and leave the caliper black..

Needs a set of my billet center caps with ZR-1 engraving to "set" off the wheels.

I'm not sure about the care on polished calipers. Have had mine for a year now and they haven't been difficult to clean up at all. If you are focused on painting them, how about a silver w a black or red script.

I have this color ( panel in my hand):
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/RVoMK1gSLks8MHD-g2GnVIDcD0ZSoQA_ivNv095R4KE=w269-h477-no
but I don't want them lost either.. Black works as it matches the car, red stands out..
Current Calipers:

I have the current ones sold to someone that really wanted to to complete the car the way he wants to, so I have a different set I am installing which is why I posed the question,
