I added some identifier tags under your User Name. Currently the tags show for Member (ZR-1 Net Registry member), Director (elected Board member), Moderator, and Administrator.
What do you think?
NOTE: If you are a current member of the ZR-1 Net Registry and the Member tag does not appear under you User Name, contact me or Mark Horner (Membership Director (ZR-1%20Net%20Registry%20Membership%20Director%20[membership@zr1netregistry.com])) to get your User Profile updated.
If you are not a member of the ZR-1 Net Registry but thought you were because you joined this Forum, then you are missing out on part of the Experience, If you would like to join the Registry, go here: http://zr1netregistry.com/Information/HowtoJoin.aspx

I like this a lot and at several levels.
It:
1. denotes a visible commitment, not just as supporting paid up member but also denotes board contributions, etc
2. provides feedback to members to confirm their status
3. is a reminder on every post who is and who is not in what capacity =D>
Well done.

Founding members are defined as those that joined the ZR-1 Net Registry prior to January 1, 2005. This was 446 members. 66 Founding members joined prior to 2005 and never renewed. (1 year members)
All the history and records are maintained by the Membership Director.
Just over 100 Founding members have been a member every year.

Sorry Dennis. This has been corrected. In the Membership list I have, in the Club Title column, the entry is "Chairman of the Board" instead of "Founding Member" so I missed it.

I have asked 3 times as to my status as a Founding Member 1 in an open post & 2 PM's. All of my question have been ignored by the person making the changes in this thread. I've been a member for many years & I don't ask a lot of the forum over the years but I really am really pissed at being totally ignored. I guess you have to have a certain status on this forum to have your concerns addressed, clearly I am not in the upper echelon as are some others or friends with the right group of people. Thanks for listening.

What "Founding Members" does not include is any member of the previous club (ZR-1 Net) who had a so called "Life Time Membership" but who did not make the jump to the "new" organization before Jan 1, 2005.

Not sure how one organization is supposed to recognize membership in a different organization.

Not sure how one organization is supposed to recognize membership in a different organization.
I don't think they should necessarily recognize any contributions members from a different club made. There was no implied or suggestion to same. My statement is meant to just inform the newer folks what the context of "Founding Member" is.
After all, one of the benefits to dissolving one club and creating a new one with the same members is that old commitments like "Lifetime Membership" can be dropped. :p
Glad you brought this up.

If you are going to make public statements like this, can you be more specific and clearly state the name of the "dissolved club" and the "new one," so there are nor misunderstanding or incorrrect assumptions?
