Well, I R&R'd my plenum today and did a vac check on the actuators and replaced the secondary solenoid. Total time: 6hrs with lunch break and watching the game. Not bad I think for a 67 year old working alone!
However, the ol back took a beating as well as the back of my legs. Ooooh to be young again!!

You don't have to be 67 to take a beating. I jack the car up on stands and then take off the front tires. Old towels draped over the brake rotors keep your pants clean and you can really get close to the work.

I thought of that, but my jack stands are up in Utah with my brother. Not the first time I have done this, so I knew the consequences.

Do you have TB Coolant and Injector Housing (top of Injector Housing) Coolant Blocked............just wondering if as part of that process you had to mess with Coolant ;)
Last time I checked my secondaries on the 90' I replaced the Intake Manifold Control Linkages......... what a difference in fit on the Secondary Shaft Levers
But do not mess around with Used....get NEW

Great job, that's impressive to me for sure.
I removed my intake about 2 months ago looking for a leak and it's lead to a mountain of projects, but I guess I'm going to try to replace it today, my first reinstall, wish me luck.

I still deal with the coolant. Usually remove from the top resevoir to below the bottom nipple. Then I blow as much of the coolant as I can out of the plenum. I don't use high pressure, just manually blow it out.
Everything seemed to be functioning properly, so I just replace the solenoid and buttoned it up.
