Need a pair of the single cable clips for the later model LT5 motor throttle clips that secure the throttle cable to the top of the plenum. This is for Bill Lear's 63 Split Window LT5. Phil and I am helping him chase a few parts. I traded him a throttle shield yesterday. If you have some you can spare PLMK. Thanks Daryll

I have doubles not singles.
Did he retain the asr? I also have some double throttle cables for our earlier set ups to incorporate the cruise control.

GC,
I'll be machining these in billet in the near future. Been in the works but the holidays slowed me down a bit. :dancing

Excellent, I've been wondering what to do with mine since I powder coated my plenum. I'll replace 'em.

Two sets for me......engraved in red letters of course :handshak:
When you get ready and when we see the top surface area.....I will think on what to engrave
May need longer SS allen head screws if you make these in billet aluminum.

D, I thought they only made these for the two cables. Even when there was only one cable, i thought.....

Mine is a 92 and the clips are for one throttle cable.

I stand corrected.
I thought I was wrong once before, but I was mistaken.

Dom is right the later motors only used a single cable. We need a pair of singles. Carter will let Bill know you could make a pair in billet as well. GC

I am thinking what I will have Carter etch in red letters on the double Throttle Cable Billet :dancing
LT5 is obvious so got to be more creative than that.....:D
I have Amsoil 10W-40 on Carter Oil Filter Billet Cover and 91 (for 91 Octane) on Carter Fuel Line Billet.....so maybe -2s (No Secondaries) on the double Throttle Cable Billet .......but there are two Billet Clips so maybe "No" on first and "Seconds" on second :sign10:
The Etching makes each Billet Dual Purpose

Tell you what here is a free killer idea, how about making some spark plug wire looms that would clean up the engine bay.

Also what about the billet PCV retainer we talked about a few years back, I think that would go over well also, PCV sit inside billet sealing with an o-ring or small hose section. Maybe a bolt that runs through the center and holds them together

The single 1 may work but the stock 1 and plenum have a second hole, 1 for screw and I think 1 to stop it from pivoting on screw and turning

Here ya go ......Etched with AMSOIL 10W-40 in Heavy Red Letters. The size of the letters is shown.
You can see if you take a hammer to the plastic "T" Handle you end up with a nice Flat steel end
with a dimple that you can drill in the middle. I added washers to seal the deal :D
I just know Carter can make Lemonade out of this without the washers and a better transition
from Billet Aluminum "T" Handle to the Dip Stick ;)
Several have Oil Dipstick "T" handles that are broken or cracked which is what I had.....so what the hay.....get the hammer out and see what is inside the "T" Handle :p
I NEED Two.

I believe these will do and seem to have the "locating tab" appropriately placed as well:

You can enlarge the image from the link so rather than posting just an image I did the link. I needed some heater cable for a friend and stumbled across these.
