I am assured this thread will not be deleted/close. I'm ok with it going away but not until sufficient time has past to give all a chance to see it.
I need to make a full disclosure about an error I made. Some days ago I concluded that the alleged behavior of one of our moderators and subsequent 3mo silence by the club president was sufficient for me to not renew my membership.
Well, I was in error. Not in the process I chose to follow but to whom I sent the complaint. You see, dumb dumb that I am I sent the complaint to the wrong person :( The president (David Johnson) never received my concern. Nor did anyone on the board.
I am sorry for implying that he ignored the complaint.
Anyway.............. the following decision of not renewing membership (past deleted thread) was based on a false assumption and action. I plan to renew ASAP.
What a class act this club, leadership and members are. I want to thank each for their PMs and/or supportive email.
I look forward to be able continue helping to keep the ZR-1/LT5 on the road and to keep newbies fully informed on their options when fixing the car.
The issue is closed for me.
LONG LIVE THE ZR-1

It takes a man to admit he was wrong. I thought I was one of the few...
(I don't have much choice, since I shoot and post much of my hack-work :D )

Pleased that you reconsidered.

Thanks for NOT leaving, Scott. Members like me need members like you to fully enjoy the ZR-1 ownership experience.
And thank you to the board and Prez for working out whatever issue Scott had and making sure he kept his membership active. In the past nobody would have done anything. It would have just been total silence in hopes someone else would deal with the issue. This is a good sign that the new board gets it.
Thanks to all...
