Parked along side my z is that exact car, 265 power PAC, 3 speed stick and overdrive with 411 rear. I bought from the original owner in 1967! Gypsy red and shoreline beige.:dancing

You are right. The Corvair was a great car for its time, the Sixties.
Most people who had accidents with them had no idea how to drive them!
I remember we had some Corvairs here in Switzerland. It was a small car with a
small engine. Many people liked them for this reason. I can't remember any bad
accident with a Corvair involved here.

Hey. I had one of those Vegas. a 1972 GT model. What a piece of junk. Trans went out at 50 miles. Started burning oil after 6mos and 2,000 miles. Got rid of it and traded for a 67 Olds 442. What a diff. Can't believe GM built an aluminum 4 banger engine with no sleeves.
