View Full Version : What size allen wrench for the diff drain plug?

I searched and didn't find what size allen wrench to remove the fill plug on the differential?

Any help.

I believe its a 10 mm

10mm seems to small from looking at it.....headed to harbor freight in the morning. I will buy a big set and hopefully hit the jackpot.

3/8" which is 9.525 mm for Differential Fill Plug.

Luckily I have a couple of lifts so no need for a jack.....got a set of allen wrenches yesterday at the china freight store. I may try and tackle it today!

I got one of the next model down from that last week for like $69... Whole lot easier to use then my heavy 3 ton steel floor jack...:)
