I recently purchased a 1990 ZR1 and found out that it has a replacement all aluminum radiator which will not pass NCRS Judging. I have found a new radiator for sale that they say is correct for all 1984 - 1990 Corvettes. my question is, does the ZR1 use a unique radiator? The GM part number for the radiator for sale is #52453612 and the Delco number is #20461.
Thanks

#52453612 is 1985 to 1989 L98. Not a fit for LT5 !! LT5 1990 is GM # 3094929. It is unique!! Others on this forum may be able to direct you as to sourcing an original for NCRS judging.

You need to be cautious of even a purchase that someone implies is an OE/GM radiator because the later "service" radiator for the ZR-1 was also the same "service" radiator as used for the L98 to include the A4 usage. If you were able to find the "service' radiator 3094929 with that tag on it that would be considered a "service" radiator for any '90 or '91 M6 car. The radiator isn't what you would consider ZR-1 specific. Ideally you want one that displays the 3094929 and the LO code on the tag. Now if you're doing NCRS you might need to be concerned with an appropriate "date code".

I'll be swapping out my radiator from my 92 if you are interested.

You're '92 should likely have a 52460411 and have a YC tag which for the OP wouldn't satisfy the NCRS requirement.
It would be a fit though if there were others looking.

I'll check out the number. I'll be installing a Fluidyne. More power generates more heat.
Dom, Talk to Kevin or Pete about radiators.

Yours should have the correct tag part # and LO code with only the date code "IF" it's on the tag being different. If your radiator is easy to put your "hands on" you might do that and confirm what's displayed! Post snapshot maybe?
