The add mentions forced induction, I didn't see any blower mounted on the engine, unless they are referring to the NOS????
Probably not a bad buy at that price.

"Forced Induction", (note sign on air cleaner), is the brand name of that bumper breather intake/air filter housing, not a blower.
Makes you wonder what engine mods it has, if any. That nitrous bottle is a major minus as far as I'm concerned.
At this low ebb time for ZR-1 prices, I'm thinking "twelveish"? It's got a lot of expensive gear on it, but it 'aint no creampuff.

i think i've seen this car on ebay before, remember the door panels. the lack of high mount doesn't bother me, some people take it off based on what kind of racing they're doing. If it was 10 years ago depending on what the shot is, the spray wouldn't bother me. but these cars and getting long in the tooth and it's getting harder to keep stock versions running properly. I'll pass on this one.

Appears to have a 93-95 style plenum

It could have been more tastefully done instead of just cutting up stuff to go racing. Take the panels off and make some new ones that fit the purpose. keep it clean/ professional looking. Not a every day driver for sure.
Considering the current market, why would anyone pay that for a hacked up car when you can find clean stock examples for less? You'll have $20k in it before you know it, just trying to get it back to something nice.

Not my cup of tea. A hack job cobble AZZed together. Ive seen many FINE examples of a ZR-1 track car which were done right. This is not one of em. Anybody that hacks up the inside of the car like that I would hate to see the rest of the engineering.... Avoid

I think maybe we're all mistakenly looking at it from a "street car" perspective. Maybe if someone just wants a track car to bash around, or strip a lot of weight out of it for the drag strip like the "snake skinner". this might be a good candidate, for the right price. I'd rather risk this one, out amongst the hay bales, than a nice original Z.
What do you guys think it's worth?

Ahhhh.....NO! This one has been on the Bay for quite some time. Probably better off a parts car.

as long as it's a solid car that runs well there's no reason it can't be a track car or restored at some point.

I stand pat on post #10. it looks like cobbled up monkey azz and Ive seen better track cars. not 17k Maybe 12K. You can restore or skinout the interior for weight reduction I guess. Would need to see it in person to look at the rest of the "Engineering"

I was going to say 10k max. If anything, a good track car will take even more money to do it right. Trust me.

It looks to be set up for high speed runs like the Texas Mile or The Silver State.
That being said, boy howdy, the PO sure did hack up the interior to fit the roll cage.
Not my cup of tea.

I'm pretty sure it was listed within the last year, too.
if it didn't have these modifications it would be a 30K+ car!
Huh?

I think it's kinda "Bad A$$". But, I would worry about the engineering also. If someone offered me it for where it's at right now, $8100, I would take it......much more, no. It probably runs great because it's been whooped on forever, but the piper will have to get paid. Could you imagine having to get out of that thing? People complain about mine, with the roll bar legs beside the seats!!!!
