Hello maybe your heater core is leaking? is the passenger floor board wet? can you take a picture of the engine compartment by the heater core so we can see if the system was looped?
Another possibilty is a problem with the blend door.

I am leaning towards the blend door motor or something within the blend door functionality

Do the lights on the head unit change as you push the buttons can you change the temp? Do the vents change from Floor to Front to Defrost? other than the blend door you have the head unit on dash Programmer drivers side under dash.
