I need to replace the door unlock switch on the driver's door. I think that I will need to buy a door handle that includes the switch and then cannibilize the switch from it.

Which car? The switch is different on a '90 and it's likely only a difference in the electrical connector but if it's for a '91+ car you might want to make sure you source the correct switch. That would allow you to avoid the cut/splice or swapping terminals and the connector. I have no first hand knowledge of the difference.

The switch is '89 and earlier, '90 a single year application and then '91+ by part number.

Thanks for the information Dave. I need the switch for the 1994, but I will take anything that will work even if I have to swap connectors.

Jim, try Y-ME here on the Registry. He's parted several 91-95's and is in Maryland.

Glad you're not going to have to do a "Dukes of Hazzard" type thing! :D
