That was Paul Dehnerts car. It is a shame that we may never see that car again. Lee thanks for the video.

I am not sure I think Pete might have converted it, I have the shifter cover from that car in my basement

I feel honored to own one of Paul's old ZR-1's. The Dymags were his, too. Thanks to Lee (Lgaff) I ended up with the Dymags before I bought the car.

Lingenfelter did the automatic conversion.

I Hope I am wrong. I think the car went into a private collection.

Apparently we are talking about two different cars here - Paul Dehnert's twin turbo was converted to an automatic several years before his death in 2010.
That's the one that Mecum sold in Indy in 2011. Unless the buyer converted Paul's back to manual after he bought it.

We are talking about the sme car and it was several years ago before his passing.
Paul Dehnert himself brought the Z To Petes for the conversion.

I stand corrected - apparently the only automatic conversion by Lingenfelter was Norm's TT.

No worries Glen.
I'm pretty sure that is Norm's ZR-1 in the video it was at BG this year in the NCM and I hear it's for sale.
It has an auto in it done by Lingenfelter.

If that is Paul"s Z back in 2000 it was a manual, he brought it to me for the AUTO conversion 4L80E back in 2005 not sure on the exact year I would have to check paperwork.

Either way I miss Paul he was a great guy one of the best car guys I have ever met, I was very saddened and took it very hard when I heard of his passing.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Norm selling the LPE TT do tell!!!

pauls car went so cheap it made me sick. I should have sold a kidney and snagged it.

I too miss paul. what an amazing gent.

When I talked with Graham I thought he said 75k for the 415 and 100k for the TT.

Rob,Graham took one look at you and knew right away you were loaded.

Rob,give me $175k and i will buy you two 1995 ZR-1's build one TT and one 427ci and i will throw in my Z for free.:)
