I have 5 sets of main bearings that have some scratches on the thrust bearings from storage etc. These are the full set for journals 1-5 with the remainder journals in perfect shape as they were sealed in plastic.
Only the thrust washer side is scratched, you can re-coat them, maybe sand them with wet&dry or just buy the set for the remainder bearings. Either way for $95.00 a set, that is a steal and way below my cost.
