Picked up last blue from Marcs shop, and made a few stops on the way back to south florida. Car runs great. What a blast to drive 1300 miles.

Seems like you are off to a great start. Pick up car, and it's running great. A stop at the National Corvette Museum, and Makers Mark. Sounds like the beginnings to a very fun weekend!!!

Enjoy the ride!

I saw your car in Marc's shop Monday. Very nice!
That one is where I got the idea that I might want to find a set of seats from a 95 to swap into mine. They looked SO much more comfy then mine!

Why does no one ever tell us they are up here?

Ya know - I thought about that - but I wasn't sure whether or not I should "advertise" it. While I would love to meet you guys - this was my first time at Marc's - and I didn't know how it would go over with him. I try to keep a low "footprint" and not bother anybody. While I'm all good amongst people in general - I usually err on the side of "not making waves" - especially when business is involved.
That said - I do hope to meet you guys, and I'm not that far away. Might have to do the Haibeck BBQ next year or something....

I was really pressed for time. Had to be home for family function on Sunday. So I had 1300 miles ahead of me. And of course had to make a stop at makers and ncm.

I will catch up with everyone at ncm next year

Marc can be counted on joining us for pizza on these occasions.

Haibeck's BBQ is a great event, you should put it on your calendar and commit. :handshak:

I thought the same thing - I didn't want to bug people too much without knowing anybody yet. Dropped mine off there a week ago or so, it's the Red / Red '90. RACINFAN, maybe you saw it too. I have a few things I fixed and a host of small items that I simply can't find the time to fix, so I dropped it off to help lighten my load at home.

I'll be back to pick it up, hopefully this coming weekend. Do you want me to "make notice" and try to meet up? I'd be happy to meet some of you for pizza or whatever.

Congrats to the OP for getting your car picked up; it looked great and I bet you had an awesome ride home!

Yep - I saw it. I wondered if it was yours since it had Iowa plates. It was right in front of where mine was. Liked the way the roll bar was done in it.
Marc and Bob were awesome. Wish I had unlimited loot and I would have em do a heck of a lot more stuff to the car....
