Daniel, the il-informed don't seem to appreciate the history of our marque.

If it weren't for these two cars, there would be no perma-grin.....

Wow that is a cool pic, big ZR-1 history there.

Why are they "so called prototypes"?

Aren't they prototype cars?

There was an il-informed guy on Corvette Forum who called them "so called" prototypes. Some people are hard to fix lol

Is this a storage situation, or was there a sales transaction?

Strictly storage for Tyler's car until Geoff Jeal can pick it up.

Cool thanks. Great looking cars, certainly glad to see them "surviving the crusher".

Good work Brett!

That's awesome to have both at the same place! Man think of the stories they could share if only...

Gorgeous! I love the color, looks similar to the Marina blue on my 67. Was this color ever used in production? I'm obviously a fan of Blue...

Yes. EX5023, my car, was squished by a front end loader by a UK salvage yard. It still retains all of its original suspension and undercarriage, as well as a couple of its original body panels.

OMG, what dedication. It shows you, if it was made once................

Finally worked on EX5023 today. It's nice to be able to work on one of my own cars for a change.

Installed all new fuel lines from the tank to the LT5. Big job since the rear suspension must be dropped to get the lines between the batwing and the underbody.

All new brake system was installed as well. Only need to troubleshoot fuel pressure in order to be 100% mechanically sound. Fires right up. Just idles around 400 rpm and will not increase with the throttle.

Next up, install the new interior and put the cover on it for storage.

It's been a long project but I really haven't had a lot of time to devote to it.

Thanks, Joe. It's been a lot of fun. I kind of forget that I even have it most of the time. Just sits on the lift. It'll be a different story once I install the interior and it's complete. Won't be long now. Hopefully this Summer.
