I hope I'm not stepping on anybodies toes here (I looked for a seller here)but I just bought "The Heart of the Beast" by Anthony Young on Amazon.com (link below) for $26.37 shipping included. The shipping is slow but I am not in a hurry. Hope it's a good one.

$39.90 shipped on Ebay and retail is $39.95.

The wait will be worth it. I purchased it a couple of years ago and have read it three times. For us ZR-1 worshippers it just doesn't get much better than the car's story from birth to end of production, and then some.

Thanks for the tip! I've ordered the book and also picked up "Corvette from the Inside" as it was also reduced and came with free shipping. Good prices on both!

I got this just recently. An amazing and fascinating story. I've been 'researching' ZR-1s for years now but there was so much about the story I didn't know before reading this.

Got the book from Amazon today. Read the foreward and inside cover flap at work and can't wait to dig in, which I am going to do soon as I finish doing the email thing.

John, I got mine today as well....although with the weather being as nice as it is, I might be out in the garage for a while before I get to it. When it rains later this week, though, let the education begin!:dancing

That book was the reason I decided to buy a ZR-1.

I'm about halfway through the book and I concur. It's a wonder that the LT5 was even built, and the dedication of those involved with the project was nothing short of amazing....makes you proud to be an owner.

i got a book from amazon a couple of week's ago & haven't even cut the clear wrap off it yet:rolleyes: , i'm really looking forward to it. a friend gave me his book on the Mclaren F1 to read & i was ½ way done when mine arrived so i finished that off first. then last night i got watching the 95 owners video that the guy i bought my 95 from sent to me ahead of the car, so it wouldn't disappear with the car in transport. i'll get to the book soon.
