Hello All,
new member and new Z owner. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and will contribute what I can to the board.
I noticed drilling a drain hole for the diff seems to me a useful and recommended modification. I have all the items needed to do it. Where is the optimal location for the drain?
I pick up my new (to me) car this weekend so I haven't had an actual look at the diff.
Thanks
Dynomite

See item #4 of LT5 Added Systems (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-zr-1-discussion/2942569-tech-info-lt5-eliminated-systems.html#post1579114180)
You will get the idea of location of the Differential Drain Plug from these two photos.
I use 1/8 inch Aluminum Allen Head NPT pipe plugs (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g1485r) from Summit Racing.
When you tap the hole, try the pipe plug several times as you tap so you end up with the pipe plug out maybe 1/16 inch when tight .
