body color overspray on undercarriage

Im looking at buying my first ZR1, 1990. There is a slight bit of body color overspray on the identical areas of both left and right footwell/floorpans. There is no eveidence of repair or repaint on the car. Is this a production issue?:flag:

Factory overspray is normal on the rocker areas for about 4-6 inches.

That's exactly the situation. Everything else on the car tells a pretty solid story thanks.
