I don't think so....my car with the 415 package, meaning 415 hp, ran 12.6@115 or so....I updated the porting and it ran 12.42@117.5....391rwhp

I once rode in a DRM 500 car (which is 475 hp w head porting and intake cams). It didn't feel faster than my car, but this was a CA delivered car with the original exhaust manifolds still installed. I think it would have been 475hp with headers. So yes and no to answer the question.
