Ported the top of these, have not touched the lower half yet, as you can see injector boss is much smaller, however as its not o-ringed on the primary cannot eliminate the boss...top portion very restrictive, they left alot of performance on the table in the first inch of the IH

Are these for a Customer or one of your own?

I believe someone is sending me a set to port, if they want their originals I will do those, but these are a set I got with a car I purchased, were sitting on the shelf so I thought I would get a head start.

Correct, will see what they want to do.....I was curious to start porting them and see the difference vs the 90-92 and the prototypes I siamesed

I'm thinking Jeff may want his 93-95 IHs ported.

Everyone says they are too thin in the walls, I am not sure I agree...and the floors appear thicker than the 90-92....these are pretty damn big

Lee,
I'm thinking Jeff may want his 93-95 IHs ported.
If I did he would have to not damage my Powder coating on them

That would be hard to promise with the plenum having to sit on its back to port.......

If anyone has an interest in getting their 93-95s ported, let me know....will do as an exchange. I will have these IHs ready to go mid-week of next week....

I taped one up once in an effort to preserve the factory finish... worked pretty well... well until I cleaned the plenum with a parts washer... oops, so much for that.

I don't recall having any problems with wall thickness, think they are pretty much the same as the early castings. The challenge with the late model design is working around the injector bosses without taking too much off them and screwing up your o-ring seal. I like to use some smaller bits and create channels on either side of the bosses - that and I go a little extra wide right around the boss area too.
