Can you actually identify the injectors with it?

I was searching for the pic of the screen I took. No luck.
In my case yes it was easy to tell what injectors I have.
I was in there with the camera
for a different reason (watching secondary smoothly pull in)
but it was visible at times to see the big RC injector logo.
The only real way to find out if the injectors are stock is to pull
the plenum etc. Not easy.

What is an RC? Did he make cola too?
Glad you were able to tell what kind you have! REALLY COOL YUP!!!
Now... what's the identifying clue, to tell if one has original injectors, once the plenum is pulled???
If $$ is necessary for the information, please make this clear. Cat & mouse forensics is a pain...

Sorry, thought you wanted to test them.

Stick a small mirror between the runners on the plenum, if they look like standard Delphi injectors, it's a good chance they are original

Great for doing a self collon-oscopy too I bet but wouldn't recommend it.:censored:

Seems to me there are part #s on them. Can't remember. But trying to see those would not be doable unless pulling them out.

As far as I know this is a free forum but paying dues yearly is recommended.
The RC injectors are very distinctive (red/white band).

The stock ones are plain looking

Thanks!
So they DO have to be pulled for ID?

I'd say that depends. If they have easy to see labels like RC or FIC injectors then no. If you see they appear to be plain and black/silver then yah, probably.

My car is a 91 with 27,000 miles on it. I was wondering the same thing, but it runs fine and it looks like the plenum was off at one point because the bolts have some wear marks on them. I'm assuming mine were changed or at least hoping they were.

The best I could come up with was go to a meet with some Z-bruthas and compare what I could see to those cars, looks like mine are original or maybe replaced with OE.
I don't want to say this too loudly but I have run only Mobil 93 and I wonder if maybe there's a chance that has no- or limited- alcohol?
Cheers,
- Jeff

In NY state, specifically in the NYC/Metro area, our 93 anything has had 10% alcohol for at least 20 yrs, and it might be longer.
