Another Interior

As the saying goes..."Once you go black, you'll never go back"...the interior color change from saddle to black is finally complete. Also installed Dynamat and a product called Second Skin (Thanks Phil!!). A big differance in sound inside!!

The back got Dynamat and Second Skin all over, even inside the cargo compartments. The front got Dynamat all over and Second Skin on floor only. The stuff is too dense and hard to form for covering the trans tunnel.

Man, I should have done a before and after sound capture with my phone and a sound app. Not sure on decibel count. I guess I could do a sound capture on a similar car as mine and compare the two.

That is awesome and I kind of wish I did the same. I have the cognac and just made it two tone with black, but the black is nice.

The next time we have a beer you have to tell me more about "Once you go black, you never go back" I know it with a different meaning being an Army guy, but you surprised me and gave me a good laugh with that comment.

You did the right thing with the good sound deadener stuff and I should have did it the right way like you. Awesome and keep up the great work and mods.

It took a couple of months, between stripping, putting two different layers of sound deadener in and then the new carprt and interior. It was more time consuming than I thought, but worth it.

I'm putting new mass backed carpet in my 93 LT-1 w foil backed sound deadener just finished rear areas of Coupe have seats out starting on **** pit area. Practice before I under take my ZR-1 restoration of carpeting etc. Did you have to get new pair of speaker grilles for rear my on 93 are faded found some speaker cloth in black gonna have to redo those now just the cloth is faded.

Nice, on my black car I went from black to red on the interior way better!
