I am trying to find out what these cars have sold for at Barrett Jackson over the last few years, like the Snake Skinner, the custom purple painted ZR-1, and the active suspension car....Does anyone have this complete list by any chance??

I would never classify Brett as a 'little puppy' I would go with Alpha Wolf though.

Yes Tyler, you are right, " little puppy " might have been the wrong observation, how bout " old slow Bassett hound "???? All I am saying is he followed your lead on the 88 prototype..... I bet he will be here in a little while to join us....lol

More like a very lazy Basset Hound trying to get up a steep incline. Oh yeah, it snores also.

1989 Pilots = Pre Production
1989 #18 through 69 where actives/90 protos/engineering units
1989 >#70 unreleased production. They cancelled on 4/10/89 would have released them to dealers if 89 dealer orders were accepted.
The DR in DR-1 was Don Runkles initials, then Chevy's chief engineer He had the 89 narrow body Corvette with the LT5 built.
BTW given the KOH status for the 88's that makes #004 the oldest intact ZR-1... Yay me.

As for the DR-1. It may not have the ZR1 option. But it IS A wide body after the fact. George

George, The DR-1 was built as a Red/black int LT5 powered narrow body. It left BG with 4 9.5 inch tires and round tail lights.
i believe this is a picture of it. From my research there was only 1 red 89 narrow body Convertible:

This clip from Vette Vues incorrectly identifies it as an 88. It was built in March of 1988 so the confusion is understandable.
The car was then sent to ASC for "Conversion" Here is the PR from Corvette Quarterly:

It is a sanctioned GM conversion, as you point out, but it was not born that way. Eric

This is a photo I took a few years back. ASC modded the rear after the car was built. George
