Absolutely STUNNING! Congratulations Jim. I especially love the picture of your car lowered halfway down. To those that don't care for C4 styling...."Bring it on!"

Not to offend any c3 owners like me as well or any c5 or c6 owners but the more I have mine the more I like its body styling more than that of the later ones. My 91 Z is just fantastic and your blue baby coming out of that truck would have had my heart thumping 130 beats a minute.

She's just plain gorgeous.

Thanks guys for all the great comments! I just sold my 02C5 Vert that I poured my heart and soul into for about 6 years so that I could purchase this 94. I have always loved Corvettes of all years but have found myself drawn more and more to the C4's over the years...Maybe because they were the "New" Vettes whenever I was in my undergrad years and were what I was looking forward to owning one day:dancing. I just got back from taking her on her first cruise around town after a few days of detailing...Drew ALOT of attention! And man does that LT5 ever pull:dancing!!!
These are awesome machines and I'm glad to be a part of such a great group of car-nuts! Ive got alot to learn about the ZR-1 so be prepared for alot of questions. Thanks agian for all the nice comments!

Jim,
Not sure what tuning has been done on yours but here's what mine does to tease you...

first: shift at 59 mph, second, shift at 92 mph, third: shift at 125 mph, fourth around 140 or so, fifth.....better look for the cops. I always have to tell myself: remember to breath, remember to breath, remember to breath. There's a fair amount of overlap on these gears as well and she just pulls and pulls and pulls.....and I'm probably a bit less than 450 hp. Try a tuned one up in the 600 range.......it's betta yet.

110 is nothing for these cars, absolutely nothing.

i dont hit 90 in second gear in mine, unless the speedo is off...the rev limiter hits at about 84.

Lance, Im pretty positive mine is all stock minus the Corsa cat back. It only has 10.7k miles on it and the previous owner assures me that nothing has been done to the motor. I'm pretty sure it wont take me long before I'm itching for more power though;)! I'll try your rev instructions later this weekend:dancing!

Yeah.... I wish I had your car, and YOU had a feather in your underwear. We'd BOTH BE TICKLED! (Course, I'd have to do an engine swap...too much BS&Tears into mine to every let that puppy get away now!;))

Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Beast! You now have something very rare; a DOHC Corvette. None other like 'em!

With it only having 9500 miles I really think you should go back to your stock exhaust. I really do. And, of course, I might entertain the thought of buying your Corsa for the Blue Beast. Just sayin'... ;)

i dont hit 90 in second gear in mine, unless the speedo is off...the rev limiter hits at about 84.

You might have different tires (diameter in actual fact), run at different tire pressures or a different rear end...As far as I know mine has just been rechipped and has a Borlas catback system for exhaust, k and n air intake and the silicone hoses on intake, et al. The chip changes the mixture and the timing both of which tend to increase power.

I haven't tested mine on a chassis dyno but it runs with its stock rear end, 3:45?, far faster than my Ls2 at 415 hp with a 4:10 rear end for punch so mine isn't truly stock but somewhere just above that but way less than ported and relieved, cammed, etc. I lust to drive an FBI or Haibeck or LPE someday or just ride in one that's 600 hp at the crank or more. There will be some of those at the 1/2 drags in Chicago in early June and it will be fun to see their results.

I just know it's fun. let the engine tell you when to shift.....mine is just what I do when I am flat out with it and about 7,000 rpm...I think the rev limiter is 7200 or so but can't remember exact numbers. I don't have a shift light but if I ran drag strips I would.

awesome color. I could just set that in my living room! Course my wife might say it clashes with our brown furniture.
