weird question I know. I have a spare out of my ZR-1 and a friend wants to see if it will fit his c5 trying to help him out
both my ZR-1 and my Z06 have big brakes so I'm not sure
trying to save him a bit of a drive if it won't work
thanks!

I don't think it will clear the C5 brakes in the front.. rear should be fine

The C4 spare will not fit over the larger C5 caliper. I have tried it first hand. The above comments concerning the GTO spare is the way to go for your C5 friend.

Ron,
I have C6 front brakes on mine, a GTO spare from a 2007 works perfect. Fits in the stock location

yea, I told him about the GTO spare thing too as they are the way to do.
like to pick up a pair of those for front "skinnies" for drag racing.
they don't look too bad with the 5 spoke a molds I have with the hoosiers if they are painted the same
if anyone sees a pair of them, let me know. I'm sure he's interested.
thanks for saving me some hassle.
anyone need a C4 ZR-1 spare?? I don't have a need for it.
$50 prefer local pickup but will ship for cost.

I have C5 Z06 front brakes. The hub will need a few thousandths removed to fit but otherwise....perfecto.
