My Girlfriend was saying she may stay home . She likes cars esp. vettes but said she doesn't want to sit around and listen to auto lectures etc. So is this more of a male bonding event or do you guys bring the spouse ? I'll also drive the Z51 not the ZR ..

IF I was going I would bring my wife. She isn't into cars as much as I - but she would like the museum and other stuff...

My wife will be with me. She actually enjoyed the lectures even though she's not especially into cars (other than riding in them). After one of the last ones she said "so that's why you keep going on about horsepower and torque..."
There's other things to do around the area. This year I've promised her we can so something else for a few hours - maybe the caves, Also I'll drop her off at the mall or anything else like that - it doesn't have to be 100% cars.

If I recall, the people at the NCM have some suggestions where the significant others can take tours in the surrounding hills, as well as the malls and museums, etc. Ask at the front desk, would be my suggestion.

One of my favorite pics from last year's gathering. Wife does repair while hubby watches ... doesn't get any better than this.

Wife is staying home. Likes cars but not 4 days worth and it would be a constant tug or war. Besides, we're going on a trip in six weeks for our 25th so...

I offered some time ago to have my wife come with me and she said, "I am sure I have something else to do that week". Recently, she even said that maybe she would like to go until I described the events planned and what we would be doing. She suddenly remembered that she does, after all, have a few things to do at home, like a wedding shower she had forgotten, etc. But I understand. It is really the same as if she had asked me to spend five days with her at the Botanic Garden. --Bob
