I bought this car off the registry ~2.5 years ago from DMark (previously Ed FastZR1's car). This car looks great and is an absolute blast to drive. The car has been meticulously cared for and had a number of tasteful modifications that have really turned it into one hot ZR-1.
1991 Corvette ZR-1 # 1643
Red Exterior & Interior
~62k miles
Engine:
Custom Tuned by Marc Haibeck - Polish & ported plenum, injector housing, air horn & throttle body performed by Jim Van Dorn of Auto Masters in Bowling Green, KY.- Stainless Works headers coated by Swain Tech - Custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust w/ X-pipe and Magnaflows - Secondaries removed - Open air lid - New MSD coils - New sparkplugs & wires, New PVC, New battery - Within the last 20k: Radiator & Oil Cooler removed & cleaned - Serp Belt - Samco Hoses - Thermostat - Alternator - Starter - Engine Powder Coated
This LT5 now has an honest 435HP+ at the crank.
Drivetrain:
Transmission rebuilt by ZF Doc - Hurst shifter - ZF Doc Drive line beam plates - Hubs and U-joints replaced before I bought the car (~45k)
Chassis, Tires & Brakes
-New Polyurethane bushing throughout - 95 A-mold GM wheels with New Nitto NT-05's and OE 91 wheels with Nitto NT-01 race tires - Lowering Blocks & Bolts - Grand Sport brake calipers - Hawk Street pads & Carbotech Race Pads - DRM stainless brake lines - DRM brake bias spring - Willwood high temp fluid.
Interior & Body
Complete Bose System Rebuild - 95 style Gill panels - ZR-1 emblems on hood - New nose & gas lid emblems
All maintenance is up to date with fresh synthetic lube in engine, trans, & diff. All original takeoff parts, GM service manuals along with the wiring manual and LT5 supplement, Window Sticker and Build Sheet included.
This car is not perfect with a couple small blemishes, but you won't find a nicer ZR-1 for the price. This to me is the perfect ZR-1 (hence why I bought it), it might not win a concurs event, but it looks great and is the perfect car to take out and enjoy.
I'm asking $16,900 here only. I'd really prefer to sell it to an enthusiast here on the forum.
Car is located in Huntsville Alabama. Please let me know if you have any questions, or shoot me a PM if you'd like to setup a time to come look at it.
