What computer chip is everyone running in their rides? I'm looking at FastChip, they seem to have reasonable prices on them. Who is running what, and do you like it?

Thanks
Constantine

I have one burned by Corey Henderson...I recommend Marc Haibeck...he's the man. Tell him your mods and he will burn you a good one...

Thanks, but I'm just looking for a chip to get a motor started up. I have an LT5 I want to get fired, but the ECM has no chip. I just want one that all the parameters are set on it. Otherwise, I would fiddle around and burn my own. I'm hoping to find a good off the shelf one.

Thanks
Constantine

Since you are just interested in getting the engine running I would just go to a Chevy dealer and buy a stock chip for whatever year engine and ecm you have. The stock chips do not cost very much and are much cheaper than any of the aftermarket chips.

I have a DRM chip(Doug Rippie) and the car runs good but I can't get it dialed in with our high altitude in Colorado, so i was thinking of calling Haibeck myself for a further in depth chip!

Thanks, Tom!!

I didn't think they made them anymore, but you are right, much, much cheaper.

Constantine...just put out a Want To Buy (WTB)...someone will have one for you. gave mine up recently to a guy that bought my old busted ECM. I gave him the PROM withit. Make sure you get the one for the model year engine you have.

Constantine, sorry to be late to the table....I replaced my chip so I have my old OEM PROM on the shelf. If you get stuck & think it would help I offer to ship it to ya to use till ya get everything sorted out.
