Hey guys, I'm planning to buy the '91 ZR1 that I've mentioned in another post. I know fuel injectors and tires were already mentioned as possible issues, but considering the car has 6k miles and has thus basically just been sitting for the better part of it's life what are some possible issues I can expect to find?

The tires are original, so obviously I know that although they still look brand new aren't going to be great after 20 years. The car has no known issues at this point, but after sitting for that length of time I'm not clueless enough to think it won't have some things I'll need to deal with eventually.

Don't be surprised if find a mouse or two has wintered over in your Z.
That was the case with my 94 which sat in a family estate for several years before I came along. Lucky for me it didn't like the grey interior and moved on.

Marc Haibeck was talking about writing an article on this very topic last week at his BBQ. Here's a link to his web site, and contact information. He has several suggestions in detail of what to do with a motor that has sat idle for extended periods.
