I had no trouble at all. Found them here on the forum about 4 months ago. Haven't seen any since, though. I'll keep my eyes out for you.

I really like mine. As a machinist I think you'll appreciate the quality. And it looks damn good with your knobs.

Looks good!
Does LT5 filterbox need to be opened up? I put in a K&N, if that makes any difference.
And where are flow limitations anyway here, on stock LT5? Intake? Exhaust? I asked that once before, and missed the follow-up there...

Thanks Schrade, No it fits on just like the stock cover no cutting involved, just remove the old knobs and cover and replace with new knobs and cover. I have been running this for a while and have not noticed any limitations, I had the cut stock cover on before and didn't like the looks of it so i made these to replace it. I also have the K&N and it fits great.

Seems there must some flow restrictions either in the box or the filter. Our engines can suck in the accordion tube. That means a lot of vaccum, that means something is restricting.

Yup. Marc H sells hoops to prevent this.

So at the very least, a can opener is in order for the lid? Or OP's lid? Or perhaps one of those 3-headed SLP set-ups???

The 3 headed SLP intake is not a good way to go. I changed mine to an open air box and it was like night and day. Sold it that week.

Shrade, This cover will have no problem holding up to the Vacuum the LT5 motor will produce. I hope i am answering your question, and I understand you correctly. :)

YesSir - I'm considering options now (with a FULL plate of maintenance and ancillary issues at the moment)...
