Car belongs to Locobob - believe his centers are powdercoated a darker gun-metal color. Looks great!

I like the contrast of the fasteners and that the center looks painted all the way out to the barrel of the rim. Are his centers moved out? It normally looks like the center doesnt go all the way to the barrel? I dont want to move the centers of mine outboard but like the way that looks.
In other words... isnt the lip that the fasteners go thru on the centers usually hidden not exposed?

I'm wondering, anyone know the original paint code for the silver center. I was told it's some special paint. Mine have a few chips and I'd like to repaint them the original color.

I bought 40 sets from the Shelby II guys when they went out of business in 2008 or 9, don't really remember...
I sold them all in the first 45 days or so. Some to ZR-1 owners and then some to the F-Body guys.
Cheers,

I remember when you posted those up... I couldn't get on the phone to you fast enough lol.... my only regret is that I didn't buy two sets instead of one.

There's still a few sets out there somewhere. I found these about a year ago on another forum, new still in the box.

Wow, Ted I am surprised no one has snatched that set up. Those are rare. If I did not already have 3 sets of wheels I would be all over it.

I bought an extra set and split them with another Z bro. We're going to each take a front and a back just in case we need them later.

I used OEM GM ones like these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Center-Cap-Impala-center-cap-HHR-center-cap-Equinox-Cobalt-Cruze-center-/151038966050?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AImpala&hash=item232a9fb922&vxp=mtr
the problem with them is the tines ont he back to hold it on the wheel were too small of a Diamter:

So I cut them off and then carefully removed the plastic part from the Shelby caps, put some #m Acrylic tape on them and attached them tot he GM Center caps
Here is how they fit. even though they are not metal like the Shelby Caps they look good on my car
