As some of you may know, I purchased a set of stock 1990 ZR-1 rims a few months ago. I had planned to get them completely refinished to take out the curb scars on them. However, due to forces beyond my control, that project as well as most others are going to be out the window for the next year or so. I just want to make sure I store the wheels properly so that when I can get them done they won't be pitted or anything else.
Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions!

put some of those moisture abosorbtion bags and put em a trash bag and stack em. throw em up in the attic and they'll be fine.

You may also want to put good coat of past wax on them...

I still have my 90 salad shooters and all I did was wash them real well and then did AIO x2 followed by luster seal followed by some Megs Q/D. I didn't use the plastic bag because mine are in a dry place where the temps don't vary much. I think the clear coat & some cleaning & some polymer protection is the safe route. I would think that if they came in boxes, use them for storage. JMHO.
Mine still have the OE rubber on them so boxes are a bit cumbersome.

Thanks for the help. I'm hoping they won't have to be in storage too long.
