That is an amazing run! But, before claiming "fastest NA LT5", I'd want to check in with Kevin Costello (FBI guy). I have it in mind that he ran a 10.4x on slicks, NA 441 ci LT5 w/a 4L60E(?). It is a DD car in Chicago traffic too, which makes it an amazing car also!
Maybe Kevin, or Pete will chime in here??

That video is from 2007 or so.. I think the car has been dismantled since then or atleast the motor was swapped..I am pretty sure that car is/was own by Mike from ECS.
What is all that smoke coming from the back of the car indicate ?

Yeah it's Mike's car. Last time I talked to him, he took the motor out and is putting it in a nova.

Yes it's Mike's ex-car. The car body stand now by my house here in Switzerland and belong a client. It will get again a 427 engine.

That's a shame. A perfectly good ZR-1 with it's heart "ripped" out.

Don't worry. It will get a new 427 heart. I am now working on.

This is the same ZR-1 Graham mentions it ran 10.49 they just don't have it on video but they do have alot of witnesses.
I wonder what that 427 would run if he ran it at 1000ft elevation,he's at
-100ft below sea level.
Our Z's loose MPH with less traction not gain MPH.
You guys can try that with your Z's.
Enjoy

Pete, did someone say that your Z's GAIN mph with less traction?
As an aside: In my non-Vette drag experience I have found mph varies little with traction, certainly much less than ET.
I guess Mike's comment stands?

This is a 10.57@134 pass which is the fastest naturally aspirated, untubbed, 6speed ZR1 ever caught on video. If the car was slowed down to low 11's the mph would be close to 140...Now that is making power!"
