Thanks for all your comments guys. I had to trust you DJ when you said get the Series One's. I typically don't like studded wheels. I bought them because I knew I could sell them pretty quickly if I didn't like them. NOT GONNA HAPPEN! They completely changed the attitude of this car. I love them. I'm really starting to enjoy the car now. Can't wait to meet everyone at BG.

That has got to be one of the most beautiful pics of a C4Z I have ever seen! Nice!=D>

Thanks, Jim. That means a lot. Have you had the opportunity to hammer on a LT5? If you ever do, you're done. Call an ambulance and crank up the paddles. You will feel like you've died and gone to Bowling Green.

You're very welcome David! And no I haven't had the pleasure of stretching out an LT5 yet. LS1's, LS3's, and even an LS7 but I am convinced that the LT5 will be a totally new experience! I have always been a fan of the C4Z's and have been watching the market and trolling the forums for about a year and the itch is getting very hard to contain. I plan to try and meet as many of you guys as I can at the Gathering in May and learn all I can! Hope to see that beauty of yours there!

I was just talking about your new wheels and looks here... You posted them up.

Very, very, very, very nice!

Couldn't agree more. The first time I went for a ride in a Z, I was hooked! The sound is not comparable to anything out there.

Good luck on your venture. Make the trek to Bowling Green. I bet there will be more then enough folks ready to give you a ride and even drive one.

if you ever figure out a way to polish the series ones around the studs to keep a good shine on them without removing the centers of the wheels, please let me know of your process. For now I have bruised and beleeding finger tips.

I'll work on that. Haven't had them on long enough to collect that much dirt! I'm assuming you're talking about the lug nut holes?

Thanks, Frank. Gotta get some wheel locks before we head out to BG.

I'm working with a photographer friend of mine now to get some good pics. He does it more as a hobby with some side gigs but has expensive equipment and lots of talent. We went tonight and scouted some excellent locales for background. It should be a fun weekend.

Reading this, I realized that I have never had a ride in a ZR-1; I have always been the driver!!

John, John, John

This tells me that you've never been in a regular ZR-1 and only your LM SNAT490. Love that car!

Actually, I recall you saying once you drove mine when it was at Callaway Cars Old Lyme.

In that case perhaps you have only driven SuperNatural cars.

Yah, sad isn't it!

To only drive SuperNatural and SuperCharged cars.

Just wondering where you got yours?

I bought 40 sets from the Shelby Series II guys and then sold them to our membership and others...

Cheers,

Ron, I already have Carter's ZR-1 center caps. You can't see them because they're not painted...yet. I'm going to do the ZR- in black and the 1 in AB. I'm going to do my oil filter cover the same way.

nope it is when you need to get around all the fasteners that hold the center section to the rim.

Have the same issue on my 3pc OZwheels. Little bolts are a pain...

Oh, of course. Battling that already. I'm going to get that foam pointed Mothers Wheel cleaner that you put on the end of your drill. I'll report back unless you've already tried it.

boostedmaxPSI

I did try it.

Speeds up the polishing time considerably. I was careful not to get mothers polish in the area of the bolts.
