That weight is not the vehicle weight, that is the weight of a car with full tank of gas, fluids, max # of passengers, full cargo, etc.....

Whats more amazing is that our ZR-1s were hefty for their day at 3,465lbs....I hear the 2014 Corvette will be 2300lbs.....so all of the high tech, light weight materials are offset by the technology

makes more sense now. if the zr-1 is 3400 wouldn't that make the lt1/l98 cars 3200ish since the zr-1 is 200lbs heavier?
