I plan on doing some more preventive maintenance that I missed. I can't seem to find one source for all the filters on our cars. Thought I list what I know of, and ask for your help filling in what I missed. I already replaced 1-3, But I also want to know if I should replace the uncommon filters (EGR, PCV, or any I missed). Just post any input or filters I missed. I appreciate it.
1- Oil filter A/C Delco #PF970C
2- Air Filter A/C Delco #A1097C
3- Fuel filter A/C Delco #GF-481
4- EGR Vac. reg. sol. vlv.filter A/C Delco #219-14(90-92) #219-18(93-95)
5-PCV filter (which may be the cam cover vent filter, not sure) A/C Delco 10135879
6- Cabin filter?

Whch oil do you use (http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3039)

Two other items of importance are the Cam Cover Filter (your PCV filter) and Stant Thermostat. Marc has the correct items

The Cam Cover Filters do fail and crumble Cam Cover Filter (http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20Web/products/cam%20cover%20filter.htm)

If you decide to replace the PCV filters then also have on hand two new Upper Camshaft Chain Guide Facings Upper Camshaft Chain Guide Facing (http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20Web/products/upper%20chain%20guide.htm)

The Stant Thermostats from Marc are the best and you can be assured they are correct for the LT5 Defective Stant Thermostat (http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20Web/facts%20and%20failures/thermostat.htm)

Also I would replace the charcoal canister to prevent its failed contents from getting into your vacuum system.

Thanks Cliff. Have you ever heard of the EGR sol. vlv. filter? Is it something that needs to be changed? I only happened to notice it when I was scrolling through the parts list.

I am guessing here but I plugged the EGR port on my headers so am thinking EGR applies to later maybe 93'- 95' ZR-1s.

On that post on CF, they say there is no EGR on the '90 LT-5. I guess there's a misprint in the parts list. Should read 91-92, not 90-92?

There is no egr on 90-92 ZR-1s. Due to the inherently clean nature of the original LT5 configuration, no egr was necessary until the revamp for the 405 hp engine. :seeya

DDSLT5 says no EGR for 90'-92' ZR-1s ;)
