Somewhere between 10k and 12.9k the reserve was met and the buy it now went away. Over 5 days left. At least one person bidding on this car is kicking themself for not grabbing it at the buy it now price. Just speculating. I don't have a dog in this hunt. Hell of a low reserve!!!

Interesting car and color combo. Good price potential for a buyer.

Is anyone familiar with this particular car? This price is too good to be true; ad reads it needs a tune up. With 24K miles, that should not be the case.

Not much of a problem, would be easy to do. Going to watch this Z. There have been some good deals lately, recently saw a ’95 black/red interior with 30K miles listed for 27K.

Wow, and I thought my 1990 # 2441 with 60000 mi was a good buy for $14,000. This sounds like a steel at 15900 dollars.

Sounds like a great deal, I wonder what's wrong with it? One owner car, that sounds as mentioned to good to be true. Maybe he's desparate for cash?

Might be one of one with that color combo...if it's real.

The ad says it's in New Jersey. The outside is detailed and attractive but they don't show any photos of the engine and I think that part of the country they use road salt on the highways in winter which can be extremely tough on steel frames. It's either a great buy or your punch list will have quite a few items with some hefty numbers on them. I'd want to see the frame and motor before buying but it's a good price if it's a good car.

You are correct Lance, Winter roads can be tough around here that is one of the reason I offered to look at it for anyone who might be interested. It is not far from me.

I wonder if it could have received damage from Hurricane Sandy? What a buy if the car is legitimate.

That's a good point. I emailed him through ebay yesterday and asked for more pictures of the interior, motor, etc. and never heard back from him.

I would wonder about it if it was submerged with Hurricane Sandy....that's salt water and as electrical as these cars are with sensors, etc. if it got swamped underwater for a few days it might be something of a mess despite polishing the exterior. The price is too low, way too low. If it looks like a duck, smells like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it probably is a ......

Be interesting to see what response you get. It's either the buy of the year or the exact opposite....wonder if it runs?

Auto-Chek Score 52 is not right for 24K one owner...

If it's a Sandy hit, it's been cleaned. No leaves on the trees (and there was for Sandy)...

The bidding ended with no bids this morning on ebay. Wonder why it needs a tune up? Is that code for something else? It would have been worth a short drive to go see it at that price and if okay would have been worth tires and tune up if that's all it really needed. However, no comment about its running, no engine photos, no photos under the hood...maybe it will come up again with more information somehow. Interesting car though Yellow isn't my color it does sound good.......

I considered looking into this car. After mulling over it, decided to not pursue it, just went with my gut feeling. Going to be looking for a unmodified ’94-’95 (prefer the revised seats & A-molds) Competition Yellow, price was so good on this one, it had me consider the ’93 MY.

Always impressed with the camaraderie on this forum, this is directed to the member who offered to view the vehicle. You guys are first-class!

That's weird!!! Two days ago, the listing said that the buy it now was no longer available because the reserve was met. Now, it says the auction is ended with the reserve not being met. Also, two days ago, it showed that the auction still had over five days left. Either something fishy is going on here or I'm missing something. Did the bidders find out something about this car and withdrew their bids? Was this a total scam? Inquiring minds want to know.

I did some more digging into the bid history and saw that "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer for sale."

I tried to reached out to the seller to look at it, my best guess is somebody made a deal with the seller. I have heard many times of people doing side deals and avoiding the ebay fees. Im sure we'll see or hear about that car again.
