I've been kicking around for sometime now what upgrade I'm going to tackle next. I've thought of everything from a convertible conversion, single turbo on the stock car and then maybe increasing the cubes on the Hawaii car. Then yesterday while cleaning out the garage (at my new house) I found these:

They must have been left by the old owners wife. He had passed away from cancer the summer before. I had no idea he was a Vette guy... Maybe he's pushing to do the 427 Turbo w/o the Jet ;) What do you think?

Anyone know what year these are from? There was also a set of CORVETTE lettering as well as a couple of door lock knobs.

Ron,

Looks like they are for a 66-67 car. NOS examples appear to be going for $100.00-$125.00 for the pair on Ebay.

Don't forget full size 3rd gen Chevys (Caprice, Impalas, Biscayne) were available from the factory with the 427 fat rat motor back in the day.

Yep! That's a spirit talking to you. Might be scary around there if you disregard the hint. Least, that's the logic I would use when discussing it with the Missus.

Must be the spirit of da Grump reaching out. My advice, don't mess with providence, heed the call!!

Back in the day the mere sight of those badges on the front fender of a Chevrolet struck fear in the hearts of many a Ford or Mopar decieple.

I decided that when I do my big cube motor, 427 is the number for me. Just feels right. LOL

Go for it!

Yeah, that quote was made for this car. Believe me, I have worn it out for the last 6 months.

this is a recurring theme, I talked about upgrading the 390 to a 427 as part of the Twin Turbo project.

it would be a beautiful thing use the big AES liners with just the right stroke and we're there!
