Hello Brethren! I'm a relatively new member here on this forum but haven't posted before. I've been on CF for a while now so some of you that wander over there may recognize my name (I used to be "BetweenVettes" until I changed my name after I got into my current Vette). I'm a relatively new Z owner too. Just thought I'd stop in an introduce myself and show off a photo of my Z. As you can probably tell it's an anniversary model.

Thanks all! Well, there isn't too much more to say. I've only had it for about six months or so, so I'm still getting to know it and trying to fix minor things on it. It is mostly stock. The only mod that I know about is the chip, but even that supposedly only turns the fan on at lower temperatures and does nothing else. I picked up a used Flowmaster exhaust and plan on getting that put on as I'd like to have a little more sound with it. I'm also in the process of scrounging up some original A-mold wheels as they are just about my favorite wheel for these cars. Other than that, we're still getting to know each other and I'm hoping to keep it forever!:hello:

Beautiful Ruby. I just found my Ruby in So. Cal. about 4 weeks ago. 16,000 miles and like yours, all original. Once you drive one you will burn everything else. I checked the registery and found that 31 Ruby's were sold in California. I have moved mine to Las Vegas, and just received my new Nevada License Plate, LT5 ZR1, I think there are only 2 ro 3 Ruby's in Nevada. I will find out in October, when we attend the West gathering here in LV. Look forward to meeting you and your Ruby. Remember there are only 243 of them in the world. Actually 248, but 5 were kept by unknown parties at the factory.

Ron Hanselman, the NV/UT State Co-Director has a Ruby as well...and a 91 Black/Black that is for sale. He lives in Vegas...he picked up his Ruby this Spring in CA as well...
Welcome, and congrats on the car! I love the ruby cars. Great picture too! How about some more photos?

Is the Ruby Red 93 color more sought after than other colors that year? I know thats the anniversery color but I saw where the Artic only had 22 made...which is more rare? or is there basically no difference?

Welcome aboard. I have had mine now for about 4 months and if I had known more about these cars and their colors and options between years, I may have held out for a Ruby car. I think they are just beautiful. I am actually looking forward to seeing yours and Ron's at the West Gathering. Wish it were September 26th instead of October. =D>
By the way, this forum has the coolest smilies. Someone tell me what the :sign10: one means.

Thanks all! [Again]... Over half of all 1993 models were rubies 245 out of 448 made that model year, so they are the most common '93.
Have interest in attending the West Gathering this year as it's not far away. Life is very busy for me these days, so I don't know yet if I'll be able to make it. Might be tough to take the Z though as we have a new baby and there is no room for three. The wife's brother lives there though so there are good excuses for going...
