David, what a beautiful car, but the real question is "how do you keep your garage that clean?"

How does that 385 stack up against the C6 ZR1?
How does that 385 stack up against the C6 ZR1?
It depends what mods 385 has either way i would say they would be close.
Imagine if you were to minus 200lbs from the C4 ZR-1 to match C6 ZR1 wieght.

Pete,
I don't know, that SC engine puts down some good torque. Maybe in a straight line but other than that I just wonder. Sounds like we need to find out. You get the 385 and I'll get the ZR1 and lets do some testing! :)

David, can you contact the seller for me ... or give me his email or forum username?
I see he is running the same front LPE brakes that I have , and was wondering if he would have information on how to get replacement stuff ( pads / rotors / ect ) ... thanks :) ---

Simply stunning Z.
Hope he gets every penny.............:)
These 95's are wonderful cars. I had no idea until I got my 95 with only 9k miles. So much different than my 91.

This is a very interesting question, How does the DRM600 stack up against a New LS9.
I am going to answer it the only way that I know how.
When you have a small block racing a big block there is nothing that the small block can do to stop that big block from running by you on the top end. With our Torque and Horsepower Curves just beginning to get aggressive at 5000 RPM I don't Think it would be a fair race for the LS9. We truly need to test this theory.
Ron, Pete I am in lets do it.

Hey Brett!
We have been holding our breath for 3 weeks now. ;-)
In what way is the 95 different from the 91 ?

So much more refined and tighter. Of course it's newer and has very low miles. Very quiet exhaust as well. The Turq car is deafening.

No kidding...

May I offer my .02 ?
There is a big difference between a 91 and the 95 as Brett stated. Tighter , refinement, quiet, better stereo more comfortable. The later model's are very different animal's in my book. Nothing against the earlier car's whatsoever as they have a more road racing appeal. I happen to like the look of the wrap around moulding on the 90 and the raw appeal of that year. A 93 is like a cross between the early and late car's also a nice car in it's own right. They are all good. As a buddy just said "in 95 they built a Caddy with a stick" because that's what the people wanted , his word's are correct IMO.
The ZR1's progressed as time went on. Then the C5's C6's etc.

I dunno fellars all ZR-1s are fine in my book. As to refined? My pops 96 with less than 60K miles when he sold it was somewhat a rattle bucket with a noisy ZF-6 compared to the ZFDOCs in my Z. A little quieter maybe?

Agreed , all Z's are mighty fine.

Bill's (ZFDOCs) transmission's are second to none. If one ever drive's a ZRDOC transmission they would find that out.

Marc spoke extensively at BG this year about the differences between even the '94 and the '95 MY cars. GM spent countless hours eliminating almost all of the squeaks and rattles and it paid off in spades.

Like the majority here I want my car tight, as in no rattles. On the other hand, if the ZF had straight cut gears that would be fine with me. Gear whine in the trans is music to my ears. I once owned a Honda Valkyrie and these bikes have straight cut gears in the trans. It was a real pleasure to run through the gears.
