Anyone got a factory (non-repro) "Dulso" finish console for sale?

Thanks.

Here's an excellent thread on restoring wha you have. I have been looking into this myself to refinsih my console. Picked up a can of Plastidip to try out. The thread is located on the dark side but well worth the read. Also has a source for great way of repairing broken tabs etc at www.plastex.com (http://www.plastex.com)

XfireZ51, Goldcyclone,

I tried Plastidip a couple of years ago. Problem is to avoid runs I had to build up multiple coats then the problem was that I ended up with textured finish.
I have a OEM non-ZR1 radio bezel that I am going to modify to accommodate 2ndary key and have the lettering replicated professionally. So, I am hoping to find a stashed away OEM console to match OEM radio bezel.

Thanks.

I replaced both the radio surround and shift console with the aftermarket repro piece off of Ebay for my pops 96. It was very close to OEM. However it did not have the lettering that you want.

Im not even sure if you find one NOS how the coating is going to hold up I think its a combo of age vs wear and they get sticky :(

Non ZR1 OEM Radio bezel I got looks great. Another problem is matching radio bezel and console. You are right GC - OEM finish is darker and has a sheen whereas repro is more mat finish.
