I have seen pics recently of a "ZR-1" front plate insert ... but mainly I see the "Corvette" front plate insert.
Whats the story on the ZR-1 version , is it aftermarket or specific to certain years?
Thanks :) ---

if you post a wtb someone may have one for sale. it's hard for the 90 since it's a one year only part

Kevin is correct on the MY90 so if you find one make sure it fits. They used to show up on Ebay from time to time. They are rough and need a lot of prep work. About the $50 price point.

Can you explain the differences?
The ad says
"•ATTENTION!!! Please specify which model Corvette you have: 1984-1990 or 1991-1996, parts are DIFFERENT
•You are biddin on one UNIVERSAL FIT 84-96 Corvette C4 Front License Plate Cover ZR-1"
Seems contradictory , and then you both said watch for the years also , thanks ---

Ask for the 84-90 Model plate only vs the 91-96 Its obvious this import shop is trying to cover all the bases on the entire C4 run for those wannabees in other model years. (Prototypes aside)

They are rough, will need some prep before paint, the other thing is the factory 1 and bumper are a softer material that can absorb some rocks, this is fiberglass, hard and rocks chips are on the rise, especially at 180

I've always wanted to make one with the ZR-1 script logo but don't seem to have the time.

The difference is night and day in the shape between the two,I guess with enough cutting anything can be made to fit.:-D
