I had not planned to announce this until the parts were actually on the shelf & ready for shipment... but I couldn't contain myself. The tooling is done, the samples (see photo) approved and pending only manufacture & shipping (abt 30 days from now). It's been a on-again, off-again project with lots of correspondence & disappointment. Always the same, expensive tooling + impractical quantities = not feasible.

Anyway.... SOON in STOCK!
(No pre-orders please. I will add notification to this thread when they come in.)

As a Set: $78.95 (PCV not included)

Separately:
Top Connector: $25.00
Lower Hose: $60.00

Great job, Jerry. I know it's a lot of work to bring a product to market.

If it was easy, everyone would do it. :handshak:

Jerry,

Great job and thanks for helping to keep dream and the Heart of the Beast alive. That looks so much better than the soft flimsy rubber of the OEM. Our cars have a future with someone like you always leaning forward.

Looks good. Does it come if bright red?
I prefer black (stock) but those with bright red
silicone hoses might want red and/or maybe chrome
kidding :p

What material did you use?

I plan to order both top and bottom from you when they become available. The originals on my 1990 look like they've just about had it. Thanks Jerry...I'll be looking for your post on availability coming hopefully soon.

I will worry much less the next time I do plenum off repairs in the back of the engine knowing I can buy that hose now.

Awesome.

Built my own out of copper fittings and painted it black a year ago when they were not avaiable and real expensive, if you found one. Thanks Jerry for your continued help with ZR parts.

Good stuff. Operating temp of -65 to 248 degrees. Ought to last a while. I'll be ordering a set to keep on the shelf. Thanks for putting in the work, Jerry.

Tacky comment Kurt & I have no clue what you are talking about. If you want one, or anything else for that matter, feel free to order.

Update: If the tracking information is accurate, we should be receiving the shipment Friday Mar 29th. The parts will be added to the web store inventory and made available for ordering just as soon as they can be inspected and put on the shelves.

My son Morgan is looking after Jerry's Gaskets while Karen & I are on an extended vacation. If at all possible, please place your orders through www.jerrysgaskets.com (http://www.jerrysgaskets.com) He does a great job, but takes care of orders after he gets off work in the evening. Shipping may be a day or so slower than normal, but still good response.

Thanks to you all for making it possible for us to produce new parts that have become "NLA or no longer available." Your support & referrals make it possible. We have a long list of parts to make & will continue to work towards that end.

Beautiful stuff and nice to have a source.

Silly question but I have to ask. Is this a big wear item?
Maybe it is something I should be checking on mine?

Thanks

The PCV rubber connection seems to get very loose and pops off the lower PCV valves. Some use nylon ties to solve the issue but for the first time having a source of NEW PCV rubber connections is the Final Solution

Time, heat & oil eventually take their toll, resulting in softer, deteriorated rubber that leaks vacuum. My lower hose (94 w/60K) felt fine, albeit hard on the firewall side, but the side facing the engine was very soft & rotten. It actually pulled in two when I tried to remove it from the pipe on the passenger side.

The lower hose & top connector have been unavailable for a long time, leaving only creative modifications and clamps, that is unless you were willing to pay $250 for the lower hose only. Thanks entirely to the support given to Jerry's Gaskets, we have been able to produce LT5 parts which were not available or very expensive, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Long Live the King!

Exactly :handshak:

You can see the size of the PCV Connector openings (new on left and old on right in each photo).

Replacing these with Jerry's NEW PCV top connector (on left in each photo) is a must
