Well the first C7 001 was auction off yesterday for 1.1 Mil at Barrett-Jackson to Rick Hendrick. GM's Vice President of Global Design Ed Welburn said Hendrick can receive his car inside the Corvette design studio where the C7 (http://www.worldcarfans.com/113011452551/2014-corvette-stingray-officially-unveiled-videos) was born.
Yet the first SRT Viper (http://www.worldcarfans.com/112062545724/first-srt-viper-sold-for-300000-video) was sold for only 300,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Orange County action last year.

The market for Vettes seems to be a lot stronger than the Viper. ---

Rick Hendrick was on the CBS program "Sunday Morning" in a segment about the new C7 Stingray. In it he talked about getting SN 0001.
It was nice of GM to donate that C7 sale for charity. I wonder when it will be delivered?
ZR1 001 went for $900,000 with that 1 only blue paint code. Someone threw in an extra $100,000 to make it an even million as thatw as for charity as well.
Bush's Ford 4x4 wenty for $300,000.
peace
