Well , My OBX headers came in yesterday along with my Summit X pipe & Dynomax Mufflers . Jerrys gaskets also came in last week with stainless bolts:) , Today my car lift arrived :) .And it just had to rain :( .
Life is good right now.. my girlfriend even bought me a new wide screen and accessories , while I was out of town working last week..

Only a "car guy" would put headers & exhaust parts on the bedspread! Karen is sitting by me while I am surfing the forum and I asked her, "Guess where he put the headers & mufflers to take a picture for the forum?" She replied instantly "On the bed!" Not that I would do that, but she sure knows "car guys."

BTW Ron, we included an extra set of plenum gaskets for our oversight filling your first order. Enjoy working on your Zee.

Haaaaa :) Yea I did think twice about putting them on there . seriously .MY girl just bought them too. She'd have a fit if she knew. At least its not as bad as the time I brought home my 50 bmg and put it b/t me and the ol'lady, in the bed ! ( hummm that might have started the divorce ?? ). I did put it on pillows.
Thanks Jerry for the gaskets ( just sent you a message) Thanks again.
Second chance - I'll be coating them ,actually the whole exhaust system. I just got off the phone with the dude who does it . I asked him if I could come work a day or two and see how everything is done ( get some learnings) and he said no problem , we'll work it out with the cost of doing my exhaust and engine parts. Sounds cool to me. Now all I need is more time. I haven't a minute to spare. Lots to do ..

It is not a good place to rebuild a carb eather.
The correct place is the kitchen table.

Do you guys think these exhaust tips will be the proper length?
And yes the table is the correct place to rebuild the carb. It's close to the kitchen sink for washing parts off .

Eagerly awaiting your review of how the car runs with those headers.

I'm the king of using my whole house to work on my car. the plenum fits in my dishwasher perfectly.
