Check out this website for some very handy automotve calculators!

HP vs 1/4 mile speed and ET, altitude effect on HP etc.

Those calculators are in most cases very accurate and they're well maintained. A couple that you mention are "theoretical" at best like any others but the more definitive ones related to ratios etc are very good. I like "my math" for some calculations but Wallace is first class.

Having worked in the Pontiac brand for years I've been a Wallace "fan-boy" I guess you could say for a very long time. Take a look at some of the Pontiac information there.

Go to the HOME page and "poke around" on the left-side. An example would be the code box. Just enter a year and most of the interesting information for that year is presented. There's a good bit of enjoyment to be had from the "HOME page" especially if your a Pontiac kind of guy.

Do a carb check and just enter 1970, choose Chevy and 4 barrel. There's so much information in just "one spot"! Try a year only (1968) cylinder head check.

I'd like to find a 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile trap speed estimator.

I don't know that you could accomplish such a thing. Axle ratio could likely kill the final 1320 MPH or maybe make it something very special !
