Brought this home from an area just N. of Atlanta in Mid December...am learning it and redoing a few minor things on it that P.O's had let get a little sloppy. Boy, does the LT5 hum when you get serious with it! Corners and handles way better than my 76 even with its 255 tires on it.

A dream to drive and I am very happy with the car. New Eagles on it as the tires on it were 10 and 11 years old with tons of tread but cracks on the surface starting between treads.

Looking good Lance. I love the red interiors.

Is that a Borla cat-back exhaust? I love those dual intercooled Borla tips.

Yes, it is. The two exhaust manifolds go right into big cats then into a long resonator like thing with twin pipes down the center then out of that each pipe goes to the borla at the back. The sound is very nice when it winds up.

I need to measure the diameter of the pipes and the cats look original though okay at the moment. Probably the oldest wear item in the exhaust are the cats and the pipe from them back if I had to guess. Unfortunately, it did not come with maint. records. about 8,000 miles ago the brakes were serviced and the disk pads are good. I don't think it was raced where braking was hard, just driving and that does not look like it was abused that I can tell.
