Hello to all,
I'm looking forward to the Forum and entering into the ZR1 Community. I finally purchased my dream car a 90 zr1 #403. I had seen these in College when they first came out but could only dream of owning one with my limited finances. Finally after 25 years I own one. It's a red on red with 34k miles. I've been doing alot of reading on the forum and feel almost overwhelmed with the amount of information to process. I am looking forward to a lasting ownership and will need all the help from forum members to get me thru. I live outside of Chattanooga Tennessee.
On another interesting note I was able to talk my brother who lives near me into buying a 91 red on black Zr1 also. So now we have even a closer bond. I look forward to meeting other ZR1 members specially those near me some day.
I hope to post in the correct forums and please correct me if I make any mistakes in posting. I plan to improve some minor things to the ZR1 as the budget allows.
Cheers,
Mike G

We'll help you shake it out and get on top of

Congrats on your new ride and solid job in recruiting your bro. You will not find a better group of guys to share your Z ownership with. That being said, we need pics now!

here are some of the only pics I have for now. These are the pics when it was listed. The last one was my first drive. I took my duaghter out for a drive and with only an 10% chance of rain it rained! I was treating it to it's first drink of fuel filling it up with 100% gas no ethanol. I plan on driving it and enjoying it as much as I can while taking care of it.

Congratulations, Mike - that's one clean looking Z!
My wife and I stayed near you last August and drove the Tail of the Dragon. Unfortunately the Z was down with bad injectors (since fixed) so we took our '85 C4. Next year we'll be back to drive it with the Z.
You'll find a wealth of helpful folks on this forum.

Totally agree. They look good and they're functional in pulling air through the wheels, cooling the rotor.
