Ok I don't know if I need help deciding for or against.

Found a couple higher mile cars.
Price is pretty right.

One is a red on black with over 80K on the clock its a bit tired but It wouldn't take much to get her back on the road and kicking *** She needs a clutch and light cleaning and beautification.
Price is under 10K

So anyway what do you think about the red 90? I could fix it or part it out not sure yet...I'm not going to lie I figure I could fix it up and sell it and make a few bucks so Im asking how have the higher mile cars been faring lately?

The other was on ebay 90 Blue (I love that blue)
Over 100K on the clock very tired interior needs some body damage fixed door has a ding and needs some work but he wants to much $13500 I told him I would give him 10K for it but haven't heard back after he counter offered the 13.5K and I told him 10K again.
I just feel it needs to much work and has higher miles to be a good deal at 13.5k.

Kinda pricey just for a color that I like and needs work.

Just my Observation of the asking prices of cars with anything like 20k to 30k miles is that market seems quite tough on prices for the early cars. You get past that mileage point and it seems to be a case of "weigh it". And mind you John, I'm basing my observation on cars that are in fairly good shape, not needing much more than maybe exterior cosmetic restoration. Not needing body parts or interior parts or drive train work.

Unless you're bored to death & have nothing better to do I think turning around 90 to 92 Z's is a tough uphill battle. :o JMHObservations. Also, I know you have all the skills so everything is "in house" with you, but it still seems like a low real return on investment even for you.

My own personal view of 90's, because I own one, is that mine is closing up on 60k. From 5' most of the road rash can't be seen, and it looks good and people see the interior and under hood and say cosmetically it doesn't match the mileage. Yet, I know that if I tried to sell I'd more than likely not get much for Her.....like under 20 thousand, maybe 15 thou? Too many early cars still in their wrappings.

Yeah I figured maybe the turn around would be acouple thousand and really when dealing with cars that is more than enough but I also know that I going back to work in a couple of weeks and the car will just sit here.

Oh well screw it maybe Ill just find me a nice 95 and go with that.
